FAQ

How to Order

Please go to the Shop and choose from the boxes we have available. If the item is “Pre Order now” then you can order and we will deliver as soon as stock comes in. If the item is “in stock”, this means that the item will be available for dispatch immediately.

Place your order using the drop down menus, and please pay using the Paypal system. You do not have to have a Paypal account to use the system.

Our produce is packaged and delivered in the “Ice Cube” System. This has been designed & validated to keep perishable products chilled below +5°C for 72 hours in the winter & 48 hours in the summer. The temperature controlled system consists of a white double walled corrugated carton and a two part air infused reflective insert, and packaged with frozen gel packs. They are fully validated over a realistic, high standard laboratory controlled test.

Delivery

When you place your order online, we will contact you in advance with the date of your delivery. We will only agree dispatch once you have confirmed that the date is acceptable. We ask you to provide an alternative shipping address or an approved safe place if there is any chance that you will not be able to receive the delivery as scheduled. Our meat boxes will normally be dispatched on a week day for delivery next day between normal working hours. We only use reliable couriers and we track each delivery. Please note that we cannot be held responsible in the event of a problem with your alternative arrangements causing your order to be spoiled.

Delivery Charges

Delivery Charges – We have a single flat rate for UK delivery. Delivery of all meat boxes will be charged at a flat rate of £10 exclusive of VAT. Note that VAT is not charged on the meat products themselves. The charges for delivery include the cost of the packaging as well as the courier delivery.

As an alternative, we are happy for people to collect from us. We will also deliver free of charge in the DD11 postcode area. Please note that local deliveries or collection will not be made in the “Ice Cube” system.
